Bonnie Hill Room

The queen size mahogany, four-poster canopy bed is dominate in this room. There's a beautiful mahogany desk that Bill's father and mother used in their home. The large wardrobe was imported from England. The mahogany dresser came from another old home in St. Augustine. The comfortable wing back chair makes an ideal place to snuggle with a favorite book. The Victorian bathroom for this room is the original bathroom in the home. It is a hall bathroom, but private for this room only. It has the largest claw foot tub in the home. The bathroom is just three or four steps from the room. We provide robes for your convenience.

Carriage Way is a traditional Victorian style building constructed between 1883 and 1885 by Edward and Rosalie Masters. The rooms are named for former owners and individuals who were significant to the history of the home. For many years, the home was very prominent in the city of St Augustine. Then, in the 1940s, the house was converted into apartments. In 1984, the structure was lovingly and extensively restored to its original grandeur, fulfilling a dream of creating Carriage Way.
