Flagler College Tours

Take a tour of Flagler College that highlights the architectural heritage of the former Hotel Ponce de Leon. Built by millionaire developer, Henry Flagler, in 1888, the hotel is considered one of the finest examples of Spanish Renaissance architecture and houses the largest collection of in use Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass windows. Located at 74 King Street, tours depart from the Rotunda at the top of each hour between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Admission is $10.00 for adults, $1.00 for children, and free to St. Johns County Residents.

St. Augustine Eco Tours

Eco Tours - St. Augustine Eco Tours take nature enthusiasts of all ages on guided tours of the waters and salt marshes surrounding the Oldest City. See coastal birds like ospreys and herons, marine mammals including bottlenose dolphin and an occasional manatee -- all in a beautiful setting of amazing scenery. Free Admission to Fountain of Youth for Florida Educators

During Florida Educators Appreciation Summer, Florida educators get free admission to Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth! Just present your photo ID with Florida Educator pay stub or school ID at the FOY ticket window. Standard admission rates apply to other members of the party. St. Augustine Distillery

The new St. Augustine Distillery opened its doors to the public for the first time this month. The beautiful new distillery is located in the historic power and ice plant built in stages between 1905 and 1927. The distillery will offer free tours and tastings from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sunday. The grand opening includes the release of the first spirit legally produced in Northeast Florida since prohibition. Sunset and Moonrise Lighthouse Tour

Nao Victoria Tour

Tour this full-sized replica 16th century Spanish tall ship. Docked at the St. Augustine City Marina. The Nao Victoria is a replica of the first ship to successfully circumnavigate the world commanded by Ferdinand Magellan in the 16th century. Paranormal investigations inside the Old Jail

The Old Jail has been featured on the Sy-Fy Channel series Ghost Hunters, and is listed on the Florida and National Registers of Haunted Places. Guided paranormal investigations take place every Friday and Saturday night from 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The Jail is located a 167 San Marco Ave., St. Augustine. Historic Weapons Demonstration
Date: 8/15 - 8/17

National Parks Service personnel demonstrate the weapons and relate the experiences of the Colonial Spanish soldier stationed in St. Augustine in 1740's. Demonstration times are 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. throughout the year. Firing times are subject to change depending on weather conditions and staff availability. The Castillo de San Marcos, the oldest masonry fortification in the U.S., was built by the Spanish in 1672 to help protect their empire in the New World. Admission is $7 for adults. Children 15 and under are free. The Castillo is open 8:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. daily. Info:

Friday Lost Ships Tour at the St. Augustine Lighthouse

Mondays and Fridays
This exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour includes a multi-media presentation with one of the Lighthouse's marine archaeologists. Tour participants visit areas of the Historic Light Station that are off-limits for general admission visitors. Participants will also see recovered artifacts that are undergoing tedious cleaning and stabilization procedures undertaken by conservators. Free time will be available to see museum exhibits in the historic Keeper's House and to also climb the 165' lighthouse. The lighthouse is located at 81 Lighthouse Avenue in St. Augustine. Gin 101 and Gin Cocktail Workshops

Each Friday evening at 6:15 p.m. and 8 p.m.,the St. Augustine Distillery presents workshops that explain gin's history, it's various categories, how the distillery's New World Gin is created and show participants how to create their own gin cocktails. Tolomato Cemetery Guided Tours

The Tolomato Cemetery is the oldest extant planned cemetery in the State of Florida, with burials starting during the First Spanish Period (1565-1763). Visitor access is limited to the 3rd Saturday of each month when docents provide guided tours. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged. Saturday morning Farmers Market

Shop for fresh produce, baked goods, hand-crafted items and plants directly from the producers. There's always live entertainment and there is fresh seafood in season. The Old City Farmers' Market takes place every Saturday morning at the St. Augustine Amphitheater on A1A South in St. Augustine.

St. Augustine Amphitheater on Anastasia Island is a convenient 10 minute car ride from Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast. This event is hosted every Saturday (Weather Permitting) all year. Enjoy this event and many others while vacationing in historic downtown St. Augustine.

Saturday Evening Zip line tour over Alligators

ZIP LINE AT NIGHT: Crocodile Crossing, the zip line course offered at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, is now offered as an evening event on Saturdays. All participants must arrive before 6 p.m. This specific adventure includes a modified version of the Nile course with six zip lines and 23 obstacles. Cost is $75 per person and includes a 30 to 45-minute nocturnal reptile tour. Reservations must be made online at least 24 hours prior to the tour.
