Flagler College Tours

Take a tour of Flagler College that highlights the architectural heritage of the former Hotel Ponce de Leon. Built by millionaire developer, Henry Flagler, in 1888, the hotel is considered one of the finest examples of Spanish Renaissance architecture and houses the largest collection of in use Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass windows. Located at 74 King Street, tours depart from the Rotunda at the top of each hour between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Admission is $10.00 for adults, $1.00 for children, and free to St. Johns County Residents.

St. Augustine Eco Tours

Eco Tours - St. Augustine Eco Tours take nature enthusiasts of all ages on guided tours of the waters and salt marshes surrounding the Oldest City. See coastal birds like ospreys and herons, marine mammals including bottlenose dolphin and an occasional manatee -- all in a beautiful setting of amazing scenery. Daily tours aboard their special explorer vessel take 2-6 guests through 12 miles of tidal creeks and coastal waters -- listen for dolphin conversations using the vessel's underwater microphones! $40 per adult, $35 for children ages 3-12, $15 for infants to age 2. St. Augustine Distillery

The new St. Augustine Distillery opened its doors to the public for the first time this month. The beautiful new distillery is located in the historic power and ice plant built in stages between 1905 and 1927. The distillery will offer free tours and tastings from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sunday. The grand opening includes the release of the first spirit legally produced in Northeast Florida since prohibition. Historic Weapons Demonstration
Date: 11/7 - 11/09

National Parks Service personnel demonstrate the weapons and relate the experiences of the Colonial Spanish soldier stationed in St. Augustine in 1740's. Demonstration times are 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. throughout the year. Firing times are subject to change depending on weather conditions and staff availability. The Castillo de San Marcos, the oldest masonry fortification in the U.S., was built by the Spanish in 1672 to help protect their empire in the New World. Admission is $7 for adults. 7th Annual St. Augustine Pirate Gathering

Hear Ye, Hear Ye, and attention all Pirates, Scallywags, Scurvy Dogs, Wenches, and other assorted undesirables of the sea! Come ashore to Francis Field dressed in your best piratical pirattitude and see the pirate mutiny, weapons demonstrations, sailor's encampment, Thieves Market, stories of the high seas, shanties, and a wee matey's play area. The Gathering is hosted by The Ancient City Privateers and Sunshine Promotions Events, Inc. Admission is $5 for Adults; Children under 12 a "Buck-An Ear" - $2; Active Duty and Military Veterans $3(with ID). Phillip Phillips in concert at St. Augustine Amphitheater

Mondays Lost Ships Tour at the St. Augustine Lighthouse

Mondays and Fridays
This exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour includes a multi-media presentation with one of the Lighthouse's marine archaeologists. Tour participants visit areas of the Historic Light Station that are off-limits for general admission visitors. Participants will also see recovered artifacts that are undergoing tedious cleaning and stabilization procedures undertaken by conservators. Free time will be available to see museum exhibits in the historic Keeper's House and to also climb the 165' lighthouse. The lighthouse is located at 81 Lighthouse Avenue in St. Augustine. Veterans Day Ceremony at Francis Field

At 11 a.m., the Veterans Council of St. Johns County in conjunction with the Florida National Guard and the Ancient City Chapter of Military Officers Association of America host the city's annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Francis Field. Static displays, a firing demonstration and re-enactors portraying the continuum of military protection provided the City from its inception in 1565 through the next 449 years are included. O. A. R. Concert

Tolomato Cemetery Guided Tours

The Tolomato Cemetery is the oldest extant planned cemetery in the State of Florida, with burials starting during the First Spanish Period (1565-1763). Visitor access is limited to the 3rd Saturday of each month when docents provide guided tours. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged. St. Augustine Half Marathon

Put on your running shoes and participate in a foot-race that suits your running level. On Saturday there will be a 10K run; a Family 5K Run and the St Augustine's Kids Race. Then on Sunday the St. Augustine Half Marathon begins.
