Flagler College Tours

Take a tour of Flagler College that highlights the architectural heritage of the former Hotel Ponce de Leon. Built by millionaire developer, Henry Flagler, in 1888, the hotel is considered one of the finest examples of Spanish Renaissance architecture and houses the largest collection of in use Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass windows. Located at 74 King Street, tours depart from the Rotunda at the top of each hour between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Admission is $10.00 for adults, $1.00 for children, and free to St. Johns County Residents.

Tour the Butterfield Garage Art Gallery to view art by Flagler College's up and coming student artists. Opening reception is Friday, April 3rd from 5-9pm (First Friday Art Walk).

Tapestry: The Cultural Threads of First America

The Saint Augustine Visitor's Information Center Presents: Tapestry: The Cultural Threads of First America. As part of the 450th Commemoration this exhibition shares the story of how Hispanics, Africans and Native Americans came together over four and a half centuries ago, to form the foundation of the American culture and create the blended society of today's St. Augustine. The histories and contemporary cultural expressions of the Menorcans, Greeks, British and others who are part of St. Augustine's rich cultural fabric will be woven into the exhibition as well.
FREE guided tours are available daily from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and the exhibition is on display from the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily at the Saint Augustine Visitor's Center located at 10 W. Castillo Drive.

Flagler College Presents: “When Good Climate Goes Bad: Climate Change and Opportunities for Florida History”

From 7:00p - 10:00p at Lewis Auditorium, 14 Granada Street, Flagler College, the Flagler College "Ideas and Images" series features an international composition of artists and authors. Each introduces a fresh and creative component to the community. "When Good Climate Goes Bad: Climate Change and Opportunities for Florida History" is the program presented by Dr. Sherry Johnson, Professor of History, School of International and Public Affairs, Florida International University.

Uptown Saturday Night

From 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm on the last Saturday of the month, explore the shops and galleries of "Uptown" St. Augustine. Live music, refreshments, new exhibits and more along San Marco Avenue North of W. Castillo.
