Flagler College Tours

Take a tour of Flagler College that highlights the architectural heritage of the former Hotel Ponce de Leon. Built by millionaire developer, Henry Flagler, in 1888, the hotel is considered one of the finest examples of Spanish Renaissance architecture and houses the largest collection of in use Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass windows. Located at 74 King Street, tours depart from the Rotunda at the top of each hour between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Admission is $10.00 for adults, $1.00 for children, and free to St. Johns County Residents.

Tapestry: The Cultural Threads of First America

The Saint Augustine Visitor's Information Center Presents: Tapestry: The Cultural Threads of First America. As part of the 450th Commemoration this exhibition shares the story of how Hispanics, Africans and Native Americans came together over four and a half centuries ago, to form the foundation of the American culture and create the blended society of today's St. Augustine. The histories and contemporary cultural expressions of the Menorcans, Greeks, British and others who are part of St. Augustine's rich cultural fabric will be woven into the exhibition as well.
FREE guided tours are available daily from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and the exhibition is on display from the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily at the Saint Augustine Visitor's Center located at 10 W. Castillo Drive.

20th Annual Rhythm and Ribs Festival

The 20th Annual Rhythm and Ribs was voted St. Augustine’s best festival of 2014 by readers of the Saint Augustine Record. On the weekend of April 10th-12th Rhythm and Ribs will be returning to Francis Field in downtown St. Augustine. This festival will feature 7 of the nation’s top BBQ champions serving mouth watering BBQ slow cooked to perfection. This year’s festival will be the 19th annual Rhythm and Ribs hosted by St. Augustine Sunshine Rotary Club. Historically this event draws over 35,000 visitors in just 3 days. In addition to world class BBQ, the festival will also feature (continuous) live music, arts and crafts vendors, as well as rides and games for the kids. The Saint Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum Presents: A Tribute to the Career of Cinematic Swashbuckler Errol Flynn

Stay with Carriage Way for the weekend of April 10th & 11th when The Saint Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum will commemorate the career of Cinematic Swashbuckler Errol Flynn! On Friday, April 10th a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase, $20/ticket, for a "meet and greet" dinner with Ms. Flynn and Pirate Museum Founder Pat Croce from 6-8pm. 
On Saturday, April 11th a series of FREE events for the public will take place on the grounds of the Colonial Quarter including the 80th anniversary screening of "Captain Blood" at 6:15pm. Book signings by Ms. Flynn, author of The Baron of Mulholland, will also be available as well as Pusser's Rum tastings within the Mercado de España and live music at the Taberna del Caballo from local piratical favorites Dirty James, the Black Raven Crew and others.
