Flagler College Tours

Take a tour of Flagler College that highlights the architectural heritage of the former Hotel Ponce de Leon. Built by millionaire developer, Henry Flagler, in 1888, the hotel is considered one of the finest examples of Spanish Renaissance architecture and houses the largest collection of in use Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass windows. Located at 74 King Street, tours depart from the Rotunda at the top of each hour between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Admission is $10.00 for adults, $1.00 for children, and free to St. Johns County Residents.

Tapestry: The Cultural Threads of First America

The Saint Augustine Visitor's Information Center Presents: Tapestry: The Cultural Threads of First America. As part of the 450th Commemoration this exhibition shares the story of how Hispanics, Africans and Native Americans came together over four and a half centuries ago, to form the foundation of the American culture and create the blended society of today's St. Augustine. The histories and contemporary cultural expressions of the Menorcans, Greeks, British and others who are part of St. Augustine's rich cultural fabric will be woven into the exhibition as well.
FREE guided tours are available daily from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and the exhibition is on display from the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily at the Saint Augustine Visitor's Center located at 10 W. Castillo Drive.

St. Augustine’s Annual Chalk Walk

Happy Birthday St. Augustine! Our annual Paseo Pastel returns for year 3 and features 60+ Artists: Career Chalk Artists, Art Educators, College and High School Students competing for cash and prizes, while they turn our sidewalks into a gallery of art.

Plan your stay with Carriage Way Bed & Breakfast for May 1st through the 3rd and be a part of St. Augustine's 3rd annual Chalk Walk!
Friday, May 1st at 7:00pm is the Pre-Event Party - location TBD. Saturday from 10:00am to 5pm is the "Chalking Day" with artists chalking the sidewalks of St. Augustine. The cash prizes will be awarded on Saturday at 6:00pm. The final day, Sunday, is the public stroll and viewing.
The St. Augustine Chalk Walk is FREE and open to the public.

Featured Artist & Master, Carolyn Shultz is a member of the Florida Chalk Art Association and participates in street painting at festivals across the United States as well as internationally. She has been awarded the prestigious designation as “Maestro Madonnari” (Master Street Painter) through the association. Carolyn performs at numerous festivals each year and we are happy to announce she will be returning again as one of our Featured Artists!

Iconic Saint Augustine Exhibit

The Players Club Sawgrass Tournament 2015

ZZ Top and Jeff Beck Concert

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre hosts Rock and Roll Hall of Famers ZZ Top and two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jeff Beck. Touring together for the first time, the concert features a full set from each followed by a memorable collaborative set. Although both have been thrilling audiences for nearly 50 years, they continue to incorporate new sounds and technologies into their performances. In fact, Jeff Beck's most recent album, Emotion and Commotion, was released in 2010 and earned two Grammy Awards.
