Two of the Best Bands Under One Amphitheatre

The St. Augustine Amphitheater presents two of the greatest rock bands in history — Foreigner and Kansas — in a rock studded concert Friday, February 24, 2017, gates open at 7:00 p.m.

Known as one of the most popular rock acts in the world, Foreigner has been selling out tours and rocking album sales for decades. Many of Foreigner’s beloved hits were included on the Rock of Ages soundtrack, including “I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Juke Box Hero,” and “Waiting For a Girl Like You.” Some other Foreigner favorites are “Cold As Ice,” “Feels Like the First Time,” “Urgent,” and “Hot Blooded,” to name a few. Foreigner’s album sales have topped 75 million in sales. Their songs can be heard in such movie and TV shows as Orange is the New Black, Anchorman2, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Netflix’s Stranger Things.

Another legendary rock band, Kansas, will take the stage with Foreigner. Kansas performs iconic classic rock with its origins in the “garage band” sound of Topeka, Kansas, where the group was formed. Kansas has produced 15 studio albums over their career that have sold more than 30 million copies. Two of their greatest hits are “Carry on Wayward Son” and “Dust in the Wind.”
