If you’ve never been to Biketoberfest it is truly something you need to experience, at least once. Biketoberfest roars through St. Augustine and into Daytona from October 13 – 16. The weekend includes all things motorcycle including rallies, live music, vendors and a beautiful ride down scenic A1A. Daytona Beach, home to the infamous “Bike Week” which draws over 500,000 participants a year is also not surprisingly home to the largest Harley Davidson dealership in the world. Over 20 years old Biketoberfest was established by the Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. Traditionally held the weekend after Columbus Day participants can expect to enjoy a 12 mile ride along called the Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail. Other great rides include the ride up Main Street and Beach Street, Tomoka State Park, DeLeon Springs State Park, the historic Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse and The Daytona Speedway.
