Have You Tried…The St. Augustine Distillery and Ice Plant Bar?

Located just off of the San Sebastian River, The Ice Plant Bar and Saint Augustine Distillery actually inhabit the original Ice Plant which was built between 1905 and 1926. The Ice Plant was once an essential part of the local shrimping and fishing industries before it closed and fell into disrepair for nearly 60 years.  That changed in 2010 when nearly $3 million worth of reconstruction and remodeling brought it back to what it is today, a new exciting culinary and libation scene.

The Distillery has tours Monday – Saturday every half hour from 10:30am to 5:00pm and Sunday's 11:30am to 5:00pm. The Ice Plant Restaurant is open Monday – Friday 11:30am to 2:00am and Weekends 5:00pm to 2:00am. Call (904) 829-6553 or visit: staugustinedistillery.com or www.iceplantbar.com for more information.

The Old Town Trolley Tour stops at the Ice Plant and Distillery as part of their continuous daily tour (Stop 12) or if you are feeling adventurous, it's just a short 15 minute walk from the front door of Carriage Way Bed and Breakfast.
