Located just over the Bridge of Lions from the Historic Downtown, the St. Augustine Lighthouse (100 Red Cox Road) is a must see when you visit the Nation’s First City.  Basic self-guided tours are offered daily from 9:00am to 6:00pm for $12.95 (Adults) or $10.96 (Seniors 60 and over). Included in the General Admission Day Pass is a special “Behind the Scenes Lighthouse History, Shipwrecks and Boat Building Tour” offered at 11:00am, 12, 1, 2 and 3pm. Participants will step back in time on a guided tour of lighthouse history, wooden boatbuilding and shipwreck archaeology.

For the more adventurous folks, the St. Augustine Lighthouse offers the “Dark of the Moon” Guided Ghost Tour. Learn the true history behind the c. 1880’s Light Keeper’s House. Hear tales of the paranormal experiences of previous guests and staff. Ascend the 219 steps of the c. 1874 Lighthouse Tower for a nighttime view of the Nation’s Oldest City. Explore the 6 acres of nature trails on the light station grounds including World War II era U.S. Coast Guard building. Tickets are $25 and tend to sell out fast.
