The idea is to encompass our local Spanish history and the drink most enjoyed by our forefathers.  When one of our great forefathers (Pedro Menendez) landed on our shores 450 years only the most important cargo was selected to make the journey. .Among this most treasured cargo was Spanish wine. Spain has been cultivating amazing wine grapes for almost fourth thousand years to be discovered by the Romans and exported throughout the Roman Empire.

The charities chosen this year include ..

Catholic Charities – St. Augustine Regional Office
The mission of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Augustine is to provide services to anyone in need, regardless of race or religion; to advocate justice, human dignity and quality of life; and to call all people to join in these efforts; thereby reflecting the compassion of God in Christ.
