Dinner at the Movies!
Dinner and a movie? Or dinner at the movies! At The Corazon Cinema and Café you can have both all nestled in the lovely historic downtown St. Augustine. Take your pick from new releases, classics or indie films to watch while you relax in this beautifully renovated theater. The name “Corazon” was chosen by new owners Karla and Bob Wagner, because it means “heart” in Spanish and that’s exactly where it’s located; right in the heart of downtown St. Augustine.
Showtimes start at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. from Monday through Saturday, with matinee showings exclusively on Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Movie prices are $8 for adults; $7 for students, military and senior citizens. Throwback Thursday movies will compromise of a $10 ticket special which will include a choice of a sandwich or salad, hot popcorn, small soda, and a screening of a free movie.
The Corazon is much more than just a theater it is also known for its amazing food, especially when former chefs of The Cheese Wheel (Joe and Tammy) are in the kitchen! Fun sandwiches named after famous movie stars like the Jim Carrey with “lots of ham”, or the Humphrey Bogart “Classic and traditional roasted turkey breast” or maybe you’re in the mood for a Channing Tatum “¼ pound real beef hotdog”! The Café serves lunch every day, take-out or eat-in, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Whatever your taste or movie preference Corazon Cinema and Café has got it, so come on in and give them a try!
