Cancellation Policies

  • The first night of your stay plus taxes per room will be charged at time of booking to guarantee your reservation. If you cancel your reservation, or *see Weather policy below, please call us at least 7 days prior to your arrival date (14 days for group bookings, holidays and special events) to cancel your reservation, less a $50 cancellation fee per room no matter what the reason is. In the unlikely event that you cancel less than 7 days prior to your arrival date or *see Weather policy below, (14 days for group bookings, holidays and special events), shorten your stay or check out early, will result in a one night room and tax charge per room. Refunds are not available for no-shows.*Weather and Hurricane Policy-We cannot be responsible for delays, interruptions, cancellations, inn closings or inconveniences in your trip due to weather. However, if you have a confirmed reservation and you are due to arrive within 24 hours and an evacuation order (due to hurricane warning) is issued, you will receive a transfer of any deposits to a future reservation. No refunds will be made. We highly suggest travel insurance:
  • A service charge of $10 per night per room will be added to Group Reservations of 3 or more rooms whether booking as a group or booking separately.
  • 10.5% Government Taxes are added to your nightly rate.
  • Visa, Master card, Discover and American Express are accepted.

Amenities included in your rate

  • On-site parking – one standard-sized vehicle parking space per guest room is included. Once you park, you truly won’t need your car until you are ready to go home. There is no extra on-site parking.
  • Chef’s Choice Hot scrumptious breakfast is served table side every morning between 8:30 am – 10:00 am.
  • Complimentary beverages of coffee, hot teas, sodas, bottled water, cream sherry and wine are available 24/7
  • Freshly baked sweets every afternoon
  • Upstairs and downstairs verandas for all guests to enjoy
  • Flat screen TVs with cable in each guest room
  • Wireless internet access throughout the inn


  • All guest rooms accommodate 2 adults with one King bed or one Queen bed.
  • We are an adult facility. We welcome 21 years old and up.
  • Our 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom secluded Cottage sleeps up to 6 adults featuring one king room with Jacuzzi tub for 2 plus rainhead shower & body sprays bath, one queen room with walk-in shower with rainhead & body sprays bath, a deep couch and a twin size roll away. A living/dining room and kitchenette with mini-fridge and microwave plus half bath complete the common areas.
  • We are unable to accept pets with the exception of service dogs.
  • Smoking is not permitted except on the front verandas.
  • Bridal parties may only be accommodated in The Cottage. Hair and makeup may not be done in the guest rooms. Please call the inn for further details before booking.
  • Registration times: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM. If your schedule allows, we encourage you to arrive early in the day, secure your on-site parking and come into the inn to register. Rooms are not guaranteed available until 3:00 PM. We are happy to check you in early, if the room is available.
  • If arriving after 5:00 PM, please call 904-829-2467 to make after-hours lockbox check-in arrangements. Lockboxes are only issued upon availability and advanced notice.
    **On Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day check-ins may only be accommodated up to 11:00am. Lockboxes are not available on these dates. On Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day so that staff may enjoy time with their families, they will depart directly after serving breakfast. Rooms will not be freshened; however, rest assured any needed linens, bottled water, etc. will be provided prior to their departure.**
  • Front desk hours are typically from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
