Every week in August from Sunday through Thursday, Carriage Way is offering a 'Sweetheart' rate that includes a two or three night stay. Reserve a 2-night stay, the second night is Half Price! Reserve a 3-night stay, the first two nights are at the regular mid-week price and third night is Free!

Whether celebrating a birthday, renewing vows, toasting an anniversary or falling in love again, August, in St. Augustine is perfect for the art of Amore!

Come stay with us and enjoy St. Augustine's Historic district. The veranda and porch at the Carriage Way provide the best vantage point for lingering over breakfast, enjoying afternoon tea and conversation, even relaxing and enjoying people watching as the sun sets. Turn the pages of history, return to a time of riding a trolley, sipping lemonade, exploring the Spanish Quarter and savoring days of Southern Hospitality at its best.

The 'Ancient City' buzzes with the clip-clop of horse drawn carriages along the brick-paved streets and galleries filled with fine art and handcrafted treasures. People stroll arm in arm from the Bridge of Lions and the bayfront to museums, quaint shops and fabulous restaurants.

All sites in the Historic District are only a 5 to 10 minute stroll. We have off-street parking on-site for our guests.

The Carriage Way is nestled in the middle of the Historic District. After a day of sightseeing, shopping, kayaking or just going to the beach; you will return to the comfort of home and the hospitality of Carriage Way.

Stay two or more nights, Sunday thru Thursday and receive a complimentary Carriage Way robe for each of your guests. Stay 3 nights and get your 4th night at 1/2 price. Reserve our cottage for your group and we will prepare a fruit and cheese tray along with a bottle of wine or sparkling juice for your arrival. Not Valid during holiday weeks.

Paddle me Out!

Bring a friend and stay two or more nights Sunday thru Thursday and you paddle free. Explore the waters as you paddle past the magnificent Castillo de San Marcos to the grounds of the Mission de Dios where Pedro Mendez claimed Florida for the Spanish Crown on September 8th 1565. After conquering the rest of the city and strolling the streets, it will be comforting to know that your room awaits you.

Holiday Tour Special

Carriage Way is a traditional Victorian style building constructed between 1883 and 1885 by Edward and Rosalie Masters. The rooms are named for former owners and individuals who were significant to the history of the home. For many years, the home was very prominent in the city of St Augustine. Then, in the 1940s, the house was converted into apartments. In 1984, the structure was lovingly and extensively restored to its original grandeur, fulfilling a dream of creating Carriage Way.
