World Golf Hall of Fame

The World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum at World Golf Village celebrates the history of the game and the legacies of its 155 members through artifacts, personal memorabilia, photography, video, and interactive exhibits. 
At the Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Museum our guests enjoy incredible eye-popping exhibits where you can pose with the world's tallest man, lose yourself in mind-boggling visual illusions, and even see a vampire kit! The array of weird will leave you awe-struck.

The World Golf Village Florida

The Old City is one of the best destinations in the country to enjoy golf vacations and getaways. Florida is known for its outstanding courses and the Old City is home to the World Golf Village.
Climb aboard the Victory III and relax for this one hour and fifteen minute tour on the water. Narrated tours by the Captain provide a way to view St. Augustine's historical district and natural sites of interest.
At the Escape U - Adventure Games & Escape Rooms, you are given a mission and placed into a themed room that you must explore to find the hidden hints and clues. You may find a lock that needs a key or you may find a container that needs a password to open.
Housed in what is considered to be the oldest brick building in the city, the Corazon Cinema opens at 11:30 am and serves food throughout the day and into the evening. Beer, Wine, Sangria, and champagne available.
With beautifully preserved examples of our 500-year-old history on display for visitors to see, this tour is one to not be missed. Take a step back into time and see what a local trip to the store would be like.
At the St. Augustine Aquarium you will see seahorses, touch invertebrates like Starfishes and Horseshoe Crabs,  see hundreds of colorful reef fish, or better yet, snorkel with them! Wetsuit, mask and snorkel gear provided.
Experience St. Augustine from the water with some of the best kayaking & paddleboarding. We offer kayak and paddleboard rentals as well as dolphin and Manatee tours. Possible local wildlife encounters may include....dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, and roseate spoonbills just to name a few.
Take a tour of this seven acre animal compound with an experienced wildlife professional. Learn about and see up close the exotic animals, including lions, tigers, wolves, macaws, and more. Minimum donations are requested, and appointments are necessary.
Which sounds the most exciting, viewing a feeding demonstration, buying food to feed a smaller alligator, or petting one? Who needs to decide when you can do it all right here. The park also has birds, monkeys, and a few other exotic animals.

HISTORY AND HERITAGE

St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum

The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, Inc. is a private, non-profit museum dedicated to its mission "to discover, preserve, present and keep alive the stories of the Nation's Oldest Port as symbolized by our working St. Augustine Lighthouse.
No trip to the Old City is complete without touring some the historic sites in the area. Touring the historic St. Augustine Florida Attractions will give you an idea of the rich history of the city. St. Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied European-established settlement in the United States.
The Lightner Museum is a museum of antiquities, mostly American Gilded Age pieces, housed within the historic Hotel Alcazar building in downtown St. Augustine. This 1887 Spanish Renaissance Revival style building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum is a museum dedicated to pirate artifacts. Formerly known as the Pirate Soul Museum, the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum is an amazing and educational experience. Transport back 300 years to Port Royal, Jamaica, during the Golden Age of Piracy! Plan your visit today!
After building his famous Ponce de Leon Hotel, Flagler wanted a safe place for his guest to roam, so he built the old jail to lock up the criminals of St. Augustine. The Old Jail features maximum security cells where only the most dangerous criminals were kept.
Take a walk through time and see what it was like to live in St. Augustine in the 16th, 17th and 18th century. This 2 acre informational park is a beautiful way the experience the Nation's Oldest City the way it once was.
The Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park is very informative and is the original site of the nation's oldest city. In 1513, Juan Ponce de Leon explored this area and Pedro Menendez settled their in 1565, making St. Augustine the oldest European settlement in the United States.
Gracia Real de Santa Teresa Mose was established in 1738 by Colonial Spanish Florida's Governor, Manual Montiano to give sanctuary to Africans challenging enslavement in the English Colony of Carolina. Flight to Freedom: Fort Mose was home to over 100 former slaves who made the perilous journey south to freedom in Spanish Florida.
Over 1400 people left the Mediterranean and set sail for British East Florida in 1768. This was the largest single group of European settlers to immigrate as a single group to the New World. A major contribution to early American history, the Menorcans courageously tamed the wilderness and settled a portion of Northeast Florida. 
Five ships sailed into a cove on the coastline of Spanish as La Florida. Under the command of Pedro Menendez de Aviles, they came to the New World from Spain. Sent by King Philip II, they arrived in hopes of establishing a colony securing the land for Spain, and to convert the native American Indians to Christianity.
We invite people of all ages to come see an ORIGINAL American Treasure. Intended to reflect the homestead life for Minorcan settlers, the Genopoly House has been preserved for future generations to enjoy. We are proud to provide recreational and educational entertainment for visiting families and students.
Committed to the preservation and interpretation of historically significant structures, artifacts and documentary material, the St. Augustine Historic Society owns and operates The Oldest House Museum, the St. Augustine Historical Research Library and provide beautiful historical gardens for events and weddings.



Formerly the residence of human rights activist and journalist/author Stetson Kennedy, Beluthahatchee Park is located in northwest St. Johns County on the William Bartram Scenic Highway (SR 13).
The Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park is committed to historical accuracy and family fun for everyone. Our Spanish Watchtower, Historic Boat building Program, and Timucua Theater are just a few of the features you will experience.
Built in 1742 to defend the city of St. Augustine from British attack, the Fort Matanzas National Monument is just 15 miles south of St. Augustine and has stood in the Matanzas Inlet for well over 250 years.

Ponce de Leon Hotel

Flagler Collage Virtual Tour

Showcasing the architectural heritage and history of former Hotel Ponce de Leon and designated as a historical landmark, the Legacy Tours of Flagler College explores the former hotel built by industrialist Henry Flagler in 1887.
As the oldest Catholic church in St. Augustine and seat of the Bishop of the Diocese of St. Augustine, its architecture is inspired by the city's Spanish roots. The cathedral walls are adorned with murals depicting scenes from the history of the Catholic Church in developing the New World.
The Villa Zorayda Museum has undergone an extensive renovation and is once again open to the public as a museum. Built by Franklin Webster Smith, the museum is built 1/10th the scale of a section of the famous Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. 
This unique house museum is a dynamic learning project. As historical research, archaeological exploration and advanced structural analysis continue, it continues to provide new information about St. Augustine's first tourism boom.
Go on our 40 minute fully guided tour takes you back to colonial Spanish days of medicine. Your journey to the past begins as our skilled surgeon performs surgical demonstrations.
Open daily 10am-5pm, the Government House building, located at 48 King Street, hosts rotating exhibits that are free and open during regular business hours. A lobby exhibit explains the rich history of Government House and its prominent location in the St. Augustine historic district.
Home to prominent Spanish, British and American families, who helped shape three centuries of St. Augustine's history, the Peña-Peck House was built circa 1750 by order of the King of Spain for Spanish Royal Treasurer Juan Estevan de Peña and his wife Maria Antonia.
1925 Lincolnville residents saw the completion of a new school, all masonry and coquina, named "Excelsior" and became Lincolnville's educational and cultural hub for more than four decades.
