St. Augustine Beach

The City of St. Augustine Beach
The City of St. Augustine Beach was incorporated in 1959, with a land area of 2.5 square miles and lying approximately five miles southeast of the City of St. Augustine.

The Beaches area contains a host of small family owned restaurants, quieter family neighborhoods, and scenic drives for everyone to enjoy. With its beautiful sunrises and amazing fishing spots, it's no wonder some people choose to take a trip out and see our beautiful St. Augustine Beach.

What Guests Are Saying About St. Augustine Beach

Gem of a beach

Went to Butler Beach. surf was great and the beach is so big and clean. You obtain a daily beach permit and take you AWB onto the beach and just relax. Enjoyed our day under the Floridian Sun.
Beautiful!

Always my favorite place to be! Beach is wide, plenty of room & vehicles are permitted, but I strongly recommend 4 wheel-drive ONLY! This is a peaceful beach, no boardwalk. Great for everyone, adults, children, surfers, body boarders, kite boarders, swimmers, sand castle builders. And those of us that are locals are friendly & happy to share information about St. Augustine!
Paradise beach!

If you are looking for a clean quiet and peaceful beach, you will find it in St Augustine. We had a great time and our kids love playing around in the sand and water. You can see the dolphins swimming around. There are plenty of creatures to look at.
White Sandy Beach

Love St. Augustine Beach, never too crowded with beautiful waves and white Sandy Beaches. We take our family every year for over 40 years. More people than 40 years ago but still not bad, room to spread out is all we care about. Love St Augustine Beach!
Beautiful clean beach, good shells...

Visited St. Augustine beach at the St. Johns pier. Free parking and restrooms, outdoor showers, and a splash zone make it easy to pop onto the beach and clean up again afterward. A few restaurants and a Ritas Water Ice shop are also in walking distance. The beach itself has both soft white sand and pinker shelly sand. It's wide and great for spreading out, and water was warm and clear for swimming. I was there right after Labor Day and there were lots of shells, especially right near the pier.
Beautiful Beach!

The beach has not been crowded at any of the times we have visited in July and August. I'm sure that depends somewhat on the spot you pick, but we have always been lucky. Lovely atmosphere. Good waves for the kids to play in.
