What Guests Are Saying About The Lincolnville Museum & Cultural Center
Small but Packed With History It took a while to find this, but we persisted and were glad we did. This is a small but growing center with a lot of great detail on the struggle for civil rights in the community where Ray Charles went to school, Martin Luther King helped with integration, a white man poured acid in a public swimming pool to prevent black from using it, and African
American individuals tried time and again to vote, own businesses, and just build a life, only to have it ruined by racist hate.
Excellent!
Your trip to St. Augustine would be incomplete if you do not visit Lincolnville. Be sure to visit the Lincolnville Museum and your the entire area!
Awesome! My mother and I really enjoyed the music (from) "The Jazz Series" and got a chance to get a sneak peak of the museum. we will come back to visit so we will have more time to look. They are in the process of updating it and enhancing so from what i saw it was great. and to be fair i didn't have a chance to view every thing.
WE WILL BE BACK!
