What Guests Say about Royal St. Augustine Golf & Country Club
Played 2 time in Janurary. Talked to the pro and he was very kind and explained how a disabled golfer was welcomed. BTW the course was in great shape.
Had my very first experience on a golf course here and it was awesome... Love there course and very relaxing atmosphere...If you and your friends would like a place to play some golf this is a great course.
Great course for the price
We used Golf now and played two rounds during our trip. The course is in good shape it is a fund course with plenty of challenge but not too difficult. The course was not too crowded. I would recommend this as a place to play.
Nicely maintained and nicely laid out
Royal St. Augustine is a nice spot that usually is not heavily played as some courses in the area are. The course is well maintained and challenging, with rolling terrain and raised greens adding to the challenge. The rates are very reasonable, and you get a bargain with a nice course and a nice clubhouse with nice amenities. Sometimes available online at very low rates. Check it out.
Best course for $28 EVER
This course should demand twice the price, given the overall high quality of the course and amenities. That price for 18-holes included an electric (quiet) cart with ProShot GPS which showed distance to the pin and offered advice on finding the next tee box. Good signage, so no trouble for this 1st timer. Forget walking - there are often long rides because this course is surrounded by homes. That said, the fairways are wide and the homes do not encroach. You will lose a few balls in water hazards and trees, but this course if very playable. I'll be back, often. Nicely done.
THE BEST COURSE for the money
Royal St. Augustine Golf and Country Club, target golf makes every shot important. Choose your tee box for your abilities and know that wind will be a factor in many of your shots. Course is challenging for all golfers at every level. Course is well maintained and the club house and pro shop have great food and bar as well as great deals on equipment. The Course winds through the Royal St. Augustine housing community. Golf carts have GPS on them and use it. Blind shots can get you into lots of trouble.
