A Journey Back in Time I have to admit I'm a sucker for historical exhibits and places that make you feel like you're back in the past. This place is great, the location is well done and the guides are awesome. From the first cannon firing to the last boom of musket, you are taken back to the early years of Florida. Your guides wear period costumes and demonstrate the tools of early life during the historical periods of the city. At each location in the tour the guides provide information, a demonstration and then let you explore. There are also restaurants within so you can grab food afterward.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Initially, although this place sounded great, I was skeptical as to whether it would be worth the trip. I was very mistaken! Ellie, our tour guide, was AMAZING and made it funny, interactive, and enjoyable for people of all ages. She really made the tour for us and the teens SO MUCH BETTER!! Definitely recommend her to anyone who wants an amazing experience here at Coloniel Quarters. Check it out!
Very Informative and Fun Really enjoyed the Colonial Quarter guided tour. It was awesome seeing the small cannon and the musket fire. It's pet friendly too which was great since I had my dog with! Learned a lot I didn't know about Florida and when it was discovered, who owned it, fought for it, etc. I don't remember the tour guides name but he was also really great. Seeing how a blacksmith worked and learning about how young men had to work and be part of militia back then was great. I highly recommend it!
