THE EXPERIENCE
Learn about more than five centuries of golf lore, from its formative years in Scotland to its global expansion, by exploring the early stick-and-ball forerunners that preceded the modern-day game.
TRAVELING
With the support of the Bob & Dolores Hope Foundation, the Hall of Fame spun its wildly popular "Shanks for the Memory" exhibit into a traveling exhibition called "Bob Hope: An American Treasure."
Nice visit, even if you dont golf!
This was our second time hete. This trip was with friends we met up with in st augustine ,used to be our neighbors! Very interesting Bob Hope are, movies are comical! A lot of history, memorabilia, and trophies. Be sure to ride the elevator to the top of the tower for a great view! Priced reasonably, 15.50 seniors at world golf resort. Interesting for everyone, I do not golf but others in our party do, it was a lot of fun for me as well!
Celebrate the games best is right! The World Golf Hall of Fame offers something for everyone! My husband and I love golf but our relatives are indifferent. They had no idea how much there was to do and enjoy in the Museum. With two putting greens, a live simulator and so much history...what more could you ask for! They have a challenge hole replica of TPC Sawgrass 17 and an IMAX Theater on property showing movies for an additional fee. Several of my family became members of the Museum because of the value and gift. Who knew presidents had been inducted and even Bob Hope? So much more than your average museum!
Beautifully done!
Made the drive to beautiful St Augustine to experience the World Golf Hall of Fame on our way to the Masters. Everything about this place is outstanding! The venue is situated in a beautiful surrounding. The architecture of the building is appealing and the displays had much thought put into them. Gorgeous tributes to so many in the golf world. I loved the Bob Hope display and the interactive activities. You really have to experience this if you love golf.
very impressive
The layout is spacious, displays nicely done. I was surprised at the very large Bob Hope display, but it was fun. The display areas are huge and there are some fun interactive things (for adult golfers). For those who enjoy golf and golfers, this is a must see.
Informative
If you like golf this is for you. The hall of fame is very well presented with great exhibits starting with Bob Hope, The Majors, Scotland the home of golf, all the greats with a replica of the Swilkin bridge and finish up with a try at getting nearest the pin on an Island green.
Great experience for golfers of all ages
Our family of 12 ranging in ages from 82 to 10 all enjoyed our visit to the World Golf Hall of Fame. For many of us it was not our first visit and we still learned something new and enjoyed the exhibits. Hitting golf shots to the island green is a must - fun for everyone.
