"We absolutely LOVED"

We absolutely LOVED this bed and breakfast! We both had never been to one before, and this one exceeded all of our expectations! The moment we walked in, we were greeted by Julio and Dean, who offered us cool, peppermint/lavender cloths for the long ride and a drink of our choice. Dean took plenty of time to show us all the spots to go-restaurants, bars, scenic spots etc. Our room was wonderful! Such a charming bedroom and very nice, updated bathroom! Our favorite spot was the upstairs porch, by far! We loved to rock on the swing and people watch. Complimentary wine, sodas, water, tea, coffee etc. all throughout the day and night and wonderful breakfast each morning with sweets throughout the day. Very quiet and oh, so quaint! We will certainly be back! If you're looking for a B & B in St. Augustine, look no further! :)

"St. Augustine stop"

One of the nicest b&b's we have stayed at, and we've been to many. A historic and old home that has been tricked out with all the amenities you could want. Rooms are spacious, and the plumbing works fabulously. We were in the aquamarine room, which was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was creative and delicious. They even have cookies and wine available in the parlor and a small carafe of sherry in the bedroom. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the historic district. A gem of a b&b.

"Anniversary Trip"

This was our first stay at a B&B and we were referred by our friends that live in St. Augustine. We were so pleased with the entire stay! My husband and I stayed in the Silver Room, which was located at The Cottage. It was a short walk to the main house for breakfast which was delicious both days. Dean even called the muffin "glorious" and it was! :). Our room was perfect for us and had a great air conditioner, towels, and the best water pressure. We would highly recommend anyone to stay at Carriage Way! Excellent job to Dean and the rest of the team!

"First Visit"

I went to this bed and breakfast for a 1-year anniversary trip with my boyfriend on the recommendation of a family member. It was our first time in St. Augustine and, as soon as we arrived, the staff welcomed us and outlined restaurant and attraction suggestions. The room was absolutely beautiful, and the brownies, which were put out daily, were always a pleasant surprise when we came back in from a long day of sightseeing. The breakfasts, and the restaurant suggestions, were wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a more romantic and enjoyable place for my anniversary and first visit.

"Wonderful Stay...Highly Recommended"

A perfect stay for our 30th Anniversary! The location is perfect for exploring old town St. Augustine. Their special touches and individual attention to their guests make for an extra special stay. They were so helpful with tips on things to do and places to eat during our stay. We definitely plan to visit Carriage Way again!

"Definitely"

It's a long time since I stayed in a B & B but I will DEFINITELY return to this one! From the moment I made the reservation until we left the building, the owners could not do enough for us – directions, key box if we were delayed, restaurant recommendations, wine on arrival etc etc. I cannot think of one thing that was overlooked, Julio & Michaele anticipated all our needs so a one night stay was made to be a very, very enjoyable mini break. We are visiting for several months from UK & will have stayed in many hotels by the time we leave USA, this B & B will be at the top of our list!

"Wonderful B&B"

We just stayed in the Amethyst room Sunday night and couldn't have been more happy with this place. Loved the shower, bath products and king size bed. Staff couldn't have been nicer from check in to breakfast. They worked around my husbands dietary limitations on the spot. We appreciated the "sharpie map" and were provided with some excellent suggestions. This B&B is within a short walking distance to most attractions and restaurants. Do not miss the Flagler College tour, stunning piece of history. Dinner at Collage Restaurant was a true treat. Thank you Carriage Way staff. We will be back!

"Homey, yet luxurious B&B"

The Carriage Way was conveniently located to many of the attractions in St. Augustine. Parking was on site, so that was a huge plus. The staff was friendly and helpful with orienting us to the restaurants and attractions of the area. The breakfasts were wonderful, and wine, coffee, and tea were available for an afternoon drink.

"First Class B&B in First U.S. City"

The Carriage Way B&B was a wonderful place to stay in St. Augustine. The location is within a short walking distance of the historical district and the Trolley. The house has nice sized, tastefully decorated rooms and common areas. The bed we had was very comfy. There is off-street parking which is rare in historical neighborhoods. The breakfasts were delicious. In addition, there were freshly baked cookies, coffee and other beverages available 24 hours.. We had an upstairs room and there was a fresh pot of coffee in the hallway each morning which was a big plus for me! The innkeepers Michaele & Julio and manager Dean were very helpful. They gave us great ideas of places to eat and visit during our time in St. Augustine. We plan to stay there again when we venture back to St. Augustine.

"Best romantic getaway!!"

My fiance and I chose Carriage Way to stay for our 5 year anniversary. We chose the Diamond Suite is well worth it in the heart of st. Augustine. It is within walking distance to everything so we didn't have to drive once. The staff was exceptional and the suite itself was extremely beautiful and cozy. Exactly as the pictures show. We will definitely be coming back and had such a lovely experience. HIGHLY recommended.

"Great B&B in St Augustine"

Spent two nights at this lovely B&B. Julio and Michaele could not have been nicer or more helpful. Our room was immaculate and the breakfast each day was wonderful. The B&B is so convenient to everything. Julio suggested restaurants and he was right on!

"Anniversary Trip"

This was our first stay back at the Carriage Way B&B since it changed ownership, and it did not disappoint! Our room was immaculate and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful but not overbearing. Breakfast was tasty, and there was plenty for us to eat (we are ovolactovegetarians). Julio's recommendations for places to eat or grab a drink were spot on. Thanks for a lovely stay, we can't wait to go back!

"Celebrate 44 years of marriage bliss"

Had a fantastic stay. First stay at the Inn, the pictures on Trip Advisor are good description of room. Bed very comfortable, bathroom is a little tight because the shower is oversized. Heat & AC easy to control and ceiling fan keeps the temp comfortable. Plenty of closet space. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Wine, soda coffee is available at any time. Fresh baked cookies in afternoon. Very pleasant reception and very knowledgeable about Saint Augustine. The manager is very helpful and available 24/7. Would stay again for sure.
