There are many ways to experience the Nights of Lights, including just wandering the historic downtown streets and taking in the festival of lights that Rachael Ray Magazine named one of the nation's "twinkliest" and National Geographic Magazine listed as one of the top ten cities in the world for holiday lighting displays. The lights are on from November 17, 2018, to February 3, 2019.

The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum will participate in the annual Nights of Lights on December 5th with their "Luminary Night" which takes place 6pm to 9pm. We offer children’s activities and holiday crafts, yuletide refreshments and live music.

Holiday Regatta of Lights
Hosted by the St. Augustine Yacht Club, this annual holiday parade features sailboats, trawlers, shrimp boats and many other vessels decorated with brilliant lighted displays. Beginning at 6 p.m., the boats will light up St. Augustine's Matanzas Bay between the Bridge of Lions and Castillo de San Marcos.

26th Annual Bed & Breakfast Holiday Home Tour
St Augustine Historic Inns Association presents this year's theme of "Movies of Christmas. " The 3 day tour costs $45.00 per person and showcases over 20 inns and 10 cultural heritage properties. Tickets can be purchased online. The tour sells out every year.

Lightner After Hours - Holiday Market
Join us on Thursday, December 19 from 4:30-8:00 pm at our free monthly social event, where guests enjoy an early evening artisan’s market with creations by local makers. Shop locally handcrafted vendors at our holiday market in the museum’s mezzanine and historic Alcazar pool area.

New Years - Beach Blast Off 2020
The most popular New Year's celebration is the Beach Blast Off held at the St. Augustine Beach Pier Park. Enjoy live music, food and drinks, a kids' zone, and a spectacular fireworks show at 8:30 pm. The Comfort Zone offers over 30 food vendors and a beer and wine tent. Local bands provide music and entertainment throughout the event, and a large 65-inch screen will also display the events on stage for guests near the back of the audience. There's face painting, a photo booth, and carnival rides. The Kids' Zone area includes several inflatables and hands-on activities. Live music begins at 5:00 p.m. with Beach 105.5 playing classic hits. At 6:00 p.m., the New Orleans-style jazz, zydeco, and blues band Hope You're Happy will take the stage, followed by Those Guys at 7:00 p.m. At 8:00 p.m., the headliner band, Prom Kings, will get everyone ready for the fireworks, which will blast off at 8:30 p.m. After the fireworks, the Prom Kings will keep the party going until 10:00 p.m.

The 8th Annual St. Augustine 4-day Film Festival is centered in the downtown historic district, with venues within walking distance of each other for film viewing, featuring films from all over the world.
