Barley Republic – An Irish Gastropub

Authentic Irish fare. Happy hour specials are available Monday through Friday, with discounts on beers, as well as cocktails. Barley Republic has Oysters and Shrimp, Burgers, and also features live entertainment in the evenings Thursday through Sunday.

The Ice Plant

Located in St. Augustine's Historic Ice plant, this bar is keeping the tradition alive by including ice is an important component of their well-made drinks. Their mission is to return to the craft of ice harvesting by freezing purified water in large blocks. With crafty and skilled bartenders, our insider tip is to order the Bartenders Choice and let them decide your drink. Lunch and dinner are available.

Meehan's Irish Pub


Built in 1917, Meehan's was once the private home of William Diskmuits, according to historical records. This Irish pub and Seafood features three restaurants in one, ther We have since found photographic evidence that the building was built prior to a devastating fire in 1914 that took out the entire bay front. The damage may have been so extensive that the home was re-built and thus the records show that it was built in 1917.
